Twisting the cloth for Kimono around the people (In a woman model) vol.2

Continuing from yesterday, I will pick some more picture up about the performance.

The clothes are twisted to her a lot.
I didn't touched those clothes, so I'm not sure how they each are thick, but it all seemed straight and not voluminous.

After the performance, I heard from her that she felt so cool and released when she took all the clothes off.

When she sat down, she showed small smile.

The clothes are continued twisted to her.

As same as man, she also wore Eboshi.

The performance was also done by woman model, too.

The way of wearing Kimono is extremely different in man and woman, so

I was expecting the different beautifulness from man's model.

The place which performance had held was old Japanese storehouse.
I researched about this storehouse, but couldn't found information.
I think it is built near or more than 100 years ago.

As the previous, performance proceeds in the quiet atmosphere.

I thought she looked Japanese-inspired, beautiful woman.
She had cool and strong appearance.

Please look at the cloth, too. In the little lights, when transparent, they are so beautiful.

I took so many pictures, so I will introduce in few days.

Twisting the cloth for Kimono around the people (In a man model) vol.2

Many clothes had twisted to the model, and a hat called "Eboshi" had put on.

After Eboshi had put on, I went in front of them.

The model seemed that he is wearing the Kimono really formal ways.

It seemed little different from here.

I thought this cloth's design is so beautiful.
It seemed like a plants and flowers.

He was covered with other cloth again.

The Eboshi was took off, and the performance had ended.

The performance had went on in silence and serious atmosphere, but we could see the smiles at last.

For next time, I will introduce the performance which have done in woman model.

Twisting the cloth for Kimono around the people (In a man model) vol.1

As a part of craft fair, I viewed a performance done by an artist who creates the cloth for Kimono.

Usually, cloth for Kimono are made of silk and cotton, he sometime selects the cloth made of paper.

The artist's name is Tadashi Maruyama

His performance is not wearing Kimono in formal ways, but twisting the cloth to people.
He is doing the performance to show the cloth's appearance of solidity.

In the music of violin, the performance proceeded in quiet and peaceful
atmosphere.

The shadows of the cloth were beautiful.

The model was also seemed really handsome and characteristic man, but
I heard that he is not a professional. He is doing other job, and just done model for this day only.

It seemed he is wearing Kimono in formal way.

At behind side, the clothes were twisted intricately.

Craft fair Matsumoto 2015 vol.3 (Matsumoto / 松本)

Crafts fair was held for 3days, from May 29th through 31st, it
was all fine sunny days.

I introduced several animal crafts yesterday, the best I liked
was a fox made of glass.

As I'm writing about Inari-shrines and foxes, it maybe seem that
I like foxes particularly, but I met the craft by chance.

I liked his face. Don't you think he has kind and tender face?


The auther was also kindly faced lady.
Other crafts were beautiful, too.

I also saw a lot of "Fu-rin" there, too.

We use Fu-rin at summer time. We thinks the sounds they makes us
feel cool and fresh.

It's getting hot and Summer is coming near.

The craft fair is held every year, at end of the May!!
As people are coming from all places in Japan for this fair, so I
recommend you to reserve the hotel soon.
(I heard that hotel's reservation starts a year before for this period)
