Gagaku concert, the oldest ensemble in the world (Matsumoto city / 松本市) vol.2

The 2nd act of Gagaku was "Garyobin".

"Garyobin" is a bird in myth of India. The spell is "Kalavinka".
When it came to Japan, "Garyobin" become a god which upper body is woman, and lower body is bird. She have beautiful voice, and said they sing a song for gods.

In Gagaku's history, four small children took part of "Garyobin".
The adults in imperial court loved the children's play.

In Japan, swallows flew from Eurasia in May and June.
Their voices are quite cute.

I may remind about Garyobin when I hear swallows voice.
